Dan Sanker, CEO of CaseStack recently returned from a trip to China where he met with several partners to discuss future opportunities.  It looks like members of the CaseStack team will be returning to China for a few projects leveraging our platform for visibility, reporting and carrier/warehouse optimization.

China's recently approved 12th Five Year Plan could have a significant impact on companies in the sector. The key emerging themes of the environment and clean energy, continued urbanization, and focus on domestic consumption will resonate in the industry.

The economic value generated by the logistics industry in China has been witnessing phenomenal growth, driven by rapid economic growth in the manufacturing-based economy. As a result of the growing demand from consumers and enterprises, China’s logistics industry has reached a value of almost $16 Trillion. The current market status in the country offers huge growth opportunities for both international and domestic players.

Some CaseStack clients might be interested to see how their products are merchandised in China.
