Internship: the word alone conjures up images of inexperienced college students making copies, fetching coffee, or filling endless mounds of paper work. Usually this would be an accurate description of an internship; however CaseStack is not your usual organization and does not follow the norm. Here is how I would describe CaseStack’s marketing internship program: REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE!

I have not had to fetch coffee for anyone except for myself. I have duties and deadlines to meet just like any other Casestack team member. The last few months have taught me more about marketing than any marketing class has ever taught me. Books can only teach you so much, now I can see how all the principals of marketing I have learned are really used in the real world to get measurable realistic results.

My internship has now come to an end and I am about to graduate from school so here comes the scary part, growing up. The business world is the next step in my life and the experience I have gained at CaseStack has given me a good starting foundation to work from. So I guess all that is left to say is thank you CaseStack and wish me luck.
