Life Outside the Office
By Mark Azali – Software QA Engineer
The office is a great place, not just because I get to accomplish a goal for a company I enjoy working for, but also because I get to interact with a variety of people with unique strengths. One of my philosophies is that we can learn a lot from each other’s personal experiences and lives.
I try to embrace these differences and share them with others since people are often capable of more than they advertise. I feel that “life outside the office” is underrated and that these experiences are a key component of synergy, what helps us learn from each other and think outside the box, which is vital to not just surviving but growth. To leave our personal life at the door would not just be sending a message that the facade people see is all we are capable of, but also likening us to robots.
