CaseStack Announces Top Warehouse of 2018
CaseStack is proud to announce Atlanta Bonded Warehouse (ABW) as the winner of our 2018 Warehouse of the Year program. The award marks ABW’s second consecutive win among a crop of highly competitive warehouses.
“We are very grateful to the solid relationship we have with ABW, and deeply appreciate their commitment to our team, our company and our clients,” said Cullen Brown, director of warehouse partners, for CaseStack.
CaseStack’s Warehouse of the Year metrics are based on Best-In-Class standards for warehouse performance categories identified by the Warehouse Education Research Council (WERC). Categories include shipping and inventory accuracy, timely order confirmations, superior food grade ratings and a host of other key performance metrics.
ABW improved performance year over year in several categories, despite experiencing more than a 15% increase in volume over 2017, and finished with a score of 98.29, out of 100 possible points.
Brown presented the award Thursday to Troy Snelson, general manager of operations. The ABW team was also honored at the event, which was followed with a catered lunch.
“Winning CaseStack’s Warehouse of the Year is a great recognition for our operations team’s hard work and attention to detail”, stated Snelson.
Snelson said CaseStack’s Warehouse of the Year performance criteria have been continually refined over the years to emphasize what best represents total customer satisfaction. He said ABW’s success in winning the award affirms his team’s commitment to delivering “total customer satisfaction” to CaseStack and CaseStack’s customers.
“Winning this for the second year is a row is a real tribute and exceptionally affirming to the efforts of our whole operations team,” Snelson said.
Brown noted that competition for Warehouse of the Year was extremely competitive, with all warehouses finishing with A results. In fact, he said, the difference between first and second place was only two tenths of a point.
“These results represent not only a solid relationship with ABW,” Brown said, “but CaseStack’s commitment to delivering the industry-leading services that help our clients improve and grow their business.”
