CaseStack Book Club Writes Foreword to Collaborate! The Art of We

This month Dan Sanker, president of CaseStack, spoke on his book, Collaborate! The Art of We, with CaseStack employees at the Naperville, IL warehouse location. Naperville is one of the many warehouse locations CaseStack strategically places throughout the United States to accommodate shipping schedules to any major retailer.
Leilani Hamilton, supply chain analyst at CaseStack, runs a monthly Book Club, which started out as a supply chain analyst only offering but is now open to all CaseStack employees. This month they chose to review Dan’s book, so he met with Leilani and the team at the Midwest warehouse to discuss. Leilani describes the experience on her LinkedIn: “Today was one of those days at the office when you know you’re at the right place. It was an honor to host Dan Sanker, President of CaseStack, and talk collaboration.” Collaboration has been a central tenant of CaseStack since its inception in 1999 and the Book Club demonstrated this in a big way.
Dan asked if the group would like to bring the book to life by writing a new book foreword, which he now calls “the best part of the book”. He recounts his experience with the Naperville team,
“The Book Club is a great example of one of our core values: Intellectual Curiosity. The team has become so knowledgeable about supply chain, retail, CPG, leadership and a lot of important business topics. It was an honor to join them as they participated in an exercise with my book, Collaborate! The Art of We. Like a lot of stuff we do around here, it was an active, not passive experience. The team rewrote the book foreword which we posted on LinkedIn. Everyone collaborated as they read about collaboration – doesn’t get better than that.”
