CaseStack Earns Sixth Consecutive Arkansas Best Places to Work Honor
Little Rock, AR – CaseStack was honored as one of Arkansas’ Best Places to Work in 2018 by Arkansas Business and Best Companies Group. CaseStack was one of four six-time winners among the 40 companies honored for their commitment to employees.
“Thank you for taking care of Arkansas’ work force,” said Woody Harrleson, president of the Hatcher Agency, a key sponsor of the event.
Harrleson spoke to the crowd representing 40 companies that participated in the sixth annual Arkansas Best Places to Work contest. He said that while the companies came from all over the state, they all share one common trait – “You put your employees first”, he said.
The contest is sponsored by Arkansas Business Publishing Group and measures each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. It includes an employee survey conducted by Best Companies Group, which facilitates similar awards nationwide.
Employee engagement among companies honored at the event was significantly higher than the national average, said Peter Burke, president of Best Companies Group.
Burke described employee engagement as an employee’s emotional connection to their employer. Employee engagement nationwide averages 41%, but honorees enjoy a 92% employee engagement.
“It’s humbling to be recognized as one of the best companies in the state six years running,” said Colby Beland, VP of Sales & Marketing for CaseStack. “But for those of us fortunate enough to work with the CaseStack team day in, day out, it’s not too surprising,” he said. “Because we know the quality of our team members.”
CaseStack, an outsourced logistics provider with headquarters in Fayetteville, AR and Santa Monica, CA, was in the inaugural class of Arkansas’ Best Places to Work in 2013 with a staff of 56. Since that first win, CaseStack’s Fayetteville office has grown to over 200.
Beland said CaseStack, “exists to help Retail CPG Companies dominate their market through superior service levels. In today’s Retail Landscape, that can only be achieved through a combination of dedication, collaboration and innovation”, he said.
“CaseStack attributes its success to its commitment to collaborate at every level of the company. It’s that shared vision that empowers CaseStack employees to deliver the level of customer service that has transformed the company into an industry-leading supply chain solutions provider”, he said.
CaseStack is known for its collaborative freight consolidation programs for retailers, including: Walmart, Kroger, Target, Sam’s Club and Amazon. CaseStack’s consolidation programs help consumer packaged goods companies and retailers improve their profitability by reducing overhead and improving On Shelf Availability.
“It is phenomenal to have been recognized as one of Arkansas’ best companies six years running,” Beland said. “Ours employees drive our success and we will continue investing in them and providing them with the environment that we hope remains worthy of future distinction.”
