Ribbon Cutting Event Recognizes CaseStack’s GreeNWAy Certification
As you may have read on an earlier blog post, our Fayetteville office has earned green certification through the GreeNWAy program, a local public-private partnership that identifies and certifies organizations that implement best practices for green and sustainable businesses.
It gets better…
Members from GreeNWAy partner organizations, including the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, the City of Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas Sam Walton School of Business, the University of Arkansas Applied Sustainability Center and the University of Arkansas Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) are holding a green ribbon cutting at our office on Tuesday, June 15th.
It’s already been a big first half of the year for CaseStack’s sustainability efforts, so we’d like to have a little midday fun and learn more about how everyone at CaseStack can contribute to our corporate commitment to reducing waste and promoting efficiency.
In addition to the ribbon cutting, CaseStack is planning educational and networking activities for employees and guests, including a “Trashket” ball Tournament between teams of CaseStack employees, with each of the three rounds sponsored by Irwin Partners, the City of Fayetteville and CaseStack. Attendees will also be invited to enjoy sustainably-sourced food and refreshments provided by Greenhouse Grille.
