Sustainable Inside and Out: CaseStack Certified Green by the Fayetteville GreeNWAy Initiative
CaseStack’s commitment to efficiency and sustainability is evident in the programs that we offer our customers. This commitment, however, is not limited to external initiatives and our latest certification is evidence of that. Today CaseStack’s Fayetteville, Ark. office was recognized for its sustainable business practices by the GreeNWAy Initiative, a local public-private partnership that identifies and certifies organizations that implement best practices for green and sustainable business.
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, the City of Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas Sam Walton School of Business, the University of Arkansas Applied Sustainability Center and the University of Arkansas Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) have been working in conjunction with community leaders, as well as non-governmental entities to design and implement the GreeNWAy program. The objectives of this elective GreeNWAy Initiative program are to provide affordable sustainability expertise to small businesses and non-profits, develop guidelines and benchmark tools for the GreeNWAy Initiative, establish a NWA GreeNWAy Institute, and support local businesses so that they may flourish in a green economy.
CaseStack is proud to support local sustainable initiatives through the GreeNWAy program. We’re also looking forward to the educational opportunities that the program regularly offers. Stay posted for information on the official GreeNWAy ribbon cutting at our Fayetteville office.
In addition to the GreeNWAy Initiative, CaseStack also recently joined the U.S. EPA’s SmartWay Transport Partnership and has been a Santa Monica Certified Green Business since 2008. Visit our website for more information about our sustainability initiatives.
